That is the phrase my little sister uses to describe my dad on Saturday mornings when the T.V. is on, and the chores aren't done. He doesn't literally turn green and destroy everything in his path. My dad also doesn't injure us at all. He is just very loud, and he walks around to every room telling us what to do. Brigitte thinks it's funny when he does that, because then she can yell out, "THE HULK IS HERE!"
So she purposefully turns on the T.V. very loud so that she can wake my dad up, and get him to start his "rampage" around the house. She may think it's fun because all she has to do is run to her room and pick up a few things before my dad goes downstairs, but for me, it's awful. First of all, it's around six in the morning when I wake up on the weekends. By eight my dad is awake, and I'm usually in bed reading or watching a show on the iPad. My room is closest to my parents room, so when he wakes up, he reaches me first. He tells me what to do (I sometimes get mad and yell back) and then he moves on to my older sister's room. Really unfortunate for Katie, she is always still asleep. He drags her out of bed, and tells her what she needs to do. In the meantime, my little sisters have quickly finished their chores, and call out the ugly phrase. When he comes downstairs, they just laugh because they know that they just upset Katie and me, and became the favorite daughters for the day since they finished their chores before the "Hulk" came to them.
My Saturdays begin with the "Hulk" but after we finish our chores, he calms down, and we all have fun as a family.
