Visitors

Whenever my house has visitors, all the kids hide from one person... my dad.  My dad is insane, and visitors call for a deep-cleaning of the house and and annoying "Are they here yet?" questions every five minutes.  The worst thing is when the visitors are staying at your house. When visitors stay at our house, there is a continuous amount of chaos that stays the entire visit.  The first day is the worst, especially when you've just moved because people want to tour the house and catch up.  Visitors always ask about one thing that I really don't like to talk about. That one thing is school.  School isn't really fun for me to talk about, but my little sisters love it, and they talk forever about their school and classes.  It's annoying how much my family talks, and I think I'm the only one that doesn't talk a lot.

When we moved into our new house, Katie, my older sister, Nick, my younger brother, and I got our own rooms.  Unfortunately for me, Katie's room became the guest room, and so she got a nice big Queen bed to sleep in.  I got stuck with two twin beds in my new escape from craziness.  My personal space was now a hotel room.

Now we have visitors coming throughout the month.  We don't even have a day of rest before the next people come.  The visitors are in Katie's room. Guess where Katie is... MY room!!! It's bad enough when you have little siblings sleeping on your floor every night because of nightmares, but Katie doesn't just have to sleep there for a month; she has to live in my bedroom for a month.  That means that she uses my stuff and takes up my personal space for her convenience.  Already, my desk is gone, and soon it will be my bathroom, and then the worst... my closet.

Yesterday was a giant sleepover in my room. The only one who didn't sleep was me.  My little siblings come into my room almost every night, and then they wake up at five in the morning and bother me.  What also doesn't help is that they snore!

My personal bubble will be popped for the next month.  It will be an adventure for sure.
