My little sisters Natalie (left) and Brigitte (right) I am in the middle
I researched three other blogs that have to do with either being a sibling or part of a family. There aren't very many blogs about being a middle child, so I guess that my idea is original. The first blog that I researched is Life in the Middle. The special feature of this blog is that Zulu has guest bloggers such as Ariel. Ariel writes about the advantages of being a middle child. My favorite part is "I always know where the line is and I know how to cross it and not get caught; I’m independent and responsible; I’m observant and calculating" (Guest Blogger: Making Lemonade). I'm really good at crossing the line... and not getting caught doing it. This blog's tone is fun and captivating, and I want to be like this blog and make my posts fun and interesting to read.
The second blog that I researched is Middle Child 20 This blog's tone was very upsetting, but the blog itself was very colorful. I liked this blog because it's very vibrant and makes you want to read because of the colors. The blog was all about the hardships that the author is facing including some relatives suffering from cancer. She wrote the blog to help her get through her hardships. I liked how the author shared her feelings and shared personal things. It helped me connect to her. I hope that my blog is appealing to the eye and helps other people to get through their life by making them laugh.
The last blog that I looked at is Mid Kid Musings. This blog has an upsetting yet humorous tone. It's about a boy who writes about how hard it is to be a middle child; at the same time, Bruce, the author, uses humor to make the blog more interesting and fun to read. It had very cool pictures too. I will use what I learned from his blog to make sure to make my blog very humorous, and I will add pictures too.
